SAEKey 40 System:

Besides the general characteristics, equal to all the SAEkey systems, the peculiar characteristics of SAEkey 40 are the followings:

- The SAEkey 40 is composed of:

• 2 digital extension ports.
• 4 analog extension ports.
• 2 courtesy announcements of 128 sec. each.
• 15 Cards slot used for the expansion of the system by optional peripheral cards, each one with 4 terminations modularity, for 60 terminations in total; in the Base unit you can insert up to seven peripheral boards and in the expansion unit you can insert up to eight peripheral boards.
• SAEkey 40 power supply;
• SAEkey 40 module and cover;
• a base board that acts as a central unit (Base Unit code 643334041), with basic equipment terminations and equipped for the connection of maximum seven optional peripheral cards and a connector for the expansion module. It manages the system telephone termination status,
• generally coordinates the traffic that affects the system, systematically supervises operation of the parts comprising the system, automatically activates protection procedures to protect parts against breakdowns, manages interactive dialogue with the operator for "customization" and for running maintenance programs;
